Behind the scenes

My Behind-the-scenes writing and previews. Set discipline, gear, prep, on-camera process, and what actually goes into a shoot.

Behind the scenes is where the work that doesn't make the final cut gets to live. Set photos, prep notes, what the room actually looked like, what the conversation on the way to the location was — the context that the finished scene doesn't need but the catalogue is better for keeping. It's also the part of the catalogue I'd want to read if I were a fan.

My behind-the-scenes catalogue includes the BTS companion to the Hotwife scene with Nova Sparx, filed alongside Nova and J the Maker's on-set process, plus the editorial writing in this lane on the blog — most notably What actually goes into a scene and The first 90 days in the industry. More BTS scene pages will land as the catalogue grows; the cadence is roughly one BTS entry per shoot weekend.

The pages on this site are SFW. The BTS scenes themselves point out to whichever platform hosts the full version, but the framing on the behind-the-scenes side stays clothed and on-set — gear, prep, location shots, the kind of photo that's safe to post on social.

What you can expect: written process notes, set photos that are actually about the set rather than dressed-up promo, and the kind of detail another working creator would find useful. This is where the business of running my own shoots gets visible.

Browse the scene catalogue for the published scenes the BTS entries pair with, the creator-life category for the broader day-to-day writing, or the blog for the long-form posts. If you're a creator yourself and the process notes are useful, the equipment-side detail lives in the equipment guide.
