Frequently asked

Who has to keep a §2257 record?: The producer of explicit content — the person who creates or assembles it. The performer provides the information; the producer keeps the file.
Is a digital ID copy acceptable?: Yes, provided it's a clear, full-color, unaltered image of both sides of the original document. This tool embeds the image directly into the output PDF.
Where do the IDs and personal info I upload go?: Nowhere off your device. The form is browser-only. The uploaded ID images become pages inside the PDF you download. Nothing is transmitted to a server.
What about SSN or phone number?: Neither is required by 28 CFR Part 75 and neither is collected here. A producer who wants them for their own records can add them by hand on the printed form.
