No Nut November from a performer's side: why I sit it out

No Nut November asks you to abstain for a month. For me that would mean not doing my job. A light look at the challenge from the other side of the camera.

No Nut November is an internet challenge: you abstain from finishing for the whole month and see if you make it to December. Plenty of people sign up, and plenty of them don't make it. I sit it out entirely, for a simple reason. It's my job.

That's the short version, and honestly most of the long version too. But the challenge is fun to look at from this side of the camera, so here it is.

What is No Nut November?

It's a month-long abstinence challenge that lives mostly on social media. The rules, such as they are: from November 1 to November 30, no orgasm. People post their progress, joke about their failures, and treat December 1 as a finish line. It's part self-discipline game, part running joke, and the joke is most of the appeal.

People also attach claims to it, about focus, energy, or health. I'm not a doctor and I'm not going to referee those. If that's why you're doing it, ask someone qualified, not a performer.

Why don't performers do No Nut November?

Because a performer who signs up would be taking the month off work. My work doesn't pause for a hashtag: if a shoot lands in November, it lands in November, and the job requires exactly the thing the challenge forbids.

So it isn't a question of willpower. It's a question of what I do for a living.

What if you're doing it anyway?

Then good luck, genuinely. The challenge is supposed to be fun, and the people who treat it as a game seem to enjoy it most. Nobody needs to explain their November to anyone.

One practical note, if you're doing it and you follow my work: my Black Friday clip sale runs all of November, half price on every clip in my ManyVids store through December 1. Buy now, watch on December 1. Consider it a finish-line present.

The short version

No Nut November is a month of abstaining. For a performer, that's a month of not working, so I leave it to everyone else and cheer from the sidelines. My work carries on as usual on my fan platforms, November included.
