Cosplay

Cosplay is a different animal from costume. The collaborators who do it well are coming from the source material — not borrowing a look off a costume bin and calling it a kink. When the partner knows the character, the scene gets to be a cosplay scene; when they don't, it gets to be lingerie with ears on. I'd rather shoot the first one.

My cosplay catalogue features Serenity Willow — a cosplay-led adult creator whose roster runs Misty (Pokémon), Raven (Teen Titans), Tina Belcher (Bob's Burgers), Jubilee (X-Men), and Chucky among others. The Misty scene on the catalogue ("Misty Takes on a Pokémon Fan") is the entry point; the rest of her character work lives on her own platforms and is worth the click.

What viewers can expect: costume treated as part of the character rather than a prop to apologise for, a co-star who knows which scenes in the source actually justify the look she's chosen, and the kind of playful chemistry that only happens when both people on set love the material.
